I really miss the days when all I had to do when I got out of the shower was dry my hair with a towel and have mom brush it out. None of this put a bunch of product in it and braid it so it doesn't tangle or frizz crap. Sigh. Life was good when I was five.
Oh. Looks like Richard's having a tantrum again. Whatever. |

Obie's got some kind of wound surrounding one of the claws on his back paw. I soaked it in warm water then cleaned it with peroxide and put some antibacterial stuff on it. Needless to say, he doesn't like me very much right now. If it gets any worse or begins to swell I'll take him in to the vet. But for now I'll just keep it clean and see if it heals up on its own. They usually do. I'm still amazed that even though Obie will claw the shit out of me in an attempt to twist himself out of my arms he always stops short of biting me. Then again I guess cats only save biting for when they really need it. As always, getting my cat cleaned up and disinfected is an educational experience. One that I'm sure will prepare me for immunizing my future children when the time comes. |
